Edna Lucille Goodrich Building was developed for the State of Washington, and is the first building to meet the state's high performance energy standards. The Class A building was recently awarded a Gold LEED rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The building has nearly 2,400 square feet of retail space on the first floor, a 4,000 square foot shared auditorium/conference space, and a 3,500 square foot data center. Classic materials such as brick, metal and stone were utilized and interpreted in a modern way to create a timeless building. Exterior glazing allows natural light to flow through the structure.

The main floor lobby connects two exterior plazas. The West Plaza is the main entry and welcomes visitors and employees with a large landscaped space and a split-face limestone "feature wall." The East Plaza is a primary design feature creating an urban space for people to enjoy. A surface lot adjoining the building provides 770 parking spaces.
